Preview of 2020 MWC ** Cancelled

Updated: Feb 18

** 2020 MWC is cancelled due to Coronavirus19.

With 3.5 Billion people in the world using smartphones, Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2020 is a must attend event for the mobile industry. This year MWC's slogan is 'Limitless, Intelligent, and Connectivity'. Experts predict that 5G and re-imagining smartphones such as foldable or dual screen phones would be the main topics of MWC. As a first-mover, you will definitely find VisualCamp at MWC. Here's what can you expect from this year's MWC.

Featured Manufacturers

1. LG

LG is expected to present V60 ThinQ and G9. LG brought the V50 with dual screens last year, but because of the war between Huawei and Samsung's foldable phone, LG lacked recognition.  Some find LG's dual screen smartphones may be more practical than foldable phones.

** Updates: LG Eletronics withdraws MWC exhibition due to Coronavirus. LG Electronics will release new smartphone later this 2020.

2. Huawei

Last year, Huawei's foldable smartphone, Mate X rocked MWC. Will this be a one-off success?

3. Sony

Sony have recently sent out their press invites for their MWC media conference, and many are speculating they will announce Xperia 5 plus and possibly a new flagship phone Xperia 2. Their conference is set for February 24th.

** Updates: Sony withdraws MWC exhibition due to Coronavirus.

5. HMD Global/Nokia

Nokia is highly expected to introduce a variety of mid-range smartphones this MWC. They have announced their conference for February 23rd.

6. Samsung & Apple

Samsung and Apple are not expected to announce new product releases at MWC 2020 and most likely will host their own events for their releases. Still as market leaders, their presence is sure to be felt.

What can you expect to see from VisualCamp?

VisualCamp will be introducing a new mobile application, 'Web analysis'.

VisualCamp has been receiving many app ideas and suggestions from partners. One of the top requests was an app that can analyze users gaze data from a mobile website or app.

You asked, and we made it! While just the beta version, you can type in any website on the app and run tests. With VisualCamp's Web Analysis App, you can run simple A/B tests to find your users' interest through a gaze heatmap, fixation duration time, and concentration rate.

Here are sneak peeks of VisualCamp's 'Web Analysis App'.

1. Wide range of smartphone support

We are introducing the beta app through Testflight at MWC, and we support iPhones (6S  to 11pro). We are also working on an android version and planning to let the app available in android app market.

2. Real Time

VisualCamp's Mobile SDK processes gaze data in real time. Use your smartphone and see results right away!

3. It's Free

As we are not experts in user behavioral analytics, we are not charging any fee for using our 'Web Analysis App'. We would love your feedback, and if you think you could make a better version, please feel free to contact us! We would be happy to provide our SDK!

Our booth is located in Hall 7, Korean Pavillion(7F61-08). You are always welcome to visit our booth. If you want to set a meeting and discuss business opportunities with our members, please email
